In-Stock Items

In-stock items are ready to ship. Hawai’i addresses will arrive in 2-4 Days (expect delays with holidays or events). West Coast shipping takes 4-7 days. Outerstate shipping takes 5-12 days (depending on weather & warehouse sorting).

Pre-order items are labeled ‘ [ PRE ] ‘ 

Pre-orders take 1-1.5 months (Unless stated otherwise). Once shipped, you’ll automatically receive a tracking number to follow your order in real time.

Check the ship date in product description before PRE-ordering—shipping begins on that date, not at checkout.

Example: A Sept. 1 date in the description means your order ships Sept. 1, with delivery in 1–3 business days from there (depending on shipping method).

Some banks may flag pre-orders as unusual activity—please check your confirmation email and confirm with your bank if needed. You may cancel a pre-order via email.

Wash inside out and inside a mesh net (laundry bag) is highly helpful. This prevents friction, snagging, and fading by keeping the visible side of the garment protected while still allowing water and detergent to circulate.

For items such as our blue lehua, pink camo or brown camo, please wash in cold water if you want to keep the color bright. If you prefer the pink to fade slightly for a vintage look, you may wash on normal. 

Do not wash every week. Space out washes to protect the fabric and print.

After drying, you may see loose liner threads inside from the embroidery. This is normal. You can gently pull/cut off any excess, as they are only placeholders for stitching. 

On the outside, you may trim any extra distressing if needed.

For the first wash, if you want more vintage fading, you can dry on regular or low heat. 

After you get a nice distressed look (first wash/dry), it is best to dry on low heat to maintain quality for your maintenance washes.

Founded on July 27, 2025, Hawaii Dept was established by Kamehameha Schools Kapālama graduate Jevin B. Reyes (ProjectJev). After graduating high school with both his diploma and an Associate of Arts degree (HPU), he underwent ACL surgery for the second time. Limited to no activity during recovery, he turned that time of adversity into an opportunity to design something meaningful.

From the beginning, every designed piece has been guided by three pillars: faith, Hawaiian culture, and streetwear. Our vision is to carry these pillars throughout the world in style.

In just 12 months our team has gathered over 18k followers on TikTok and over 8k followers on instagram. We've also created over 20 unique pieces, showing off our creativity and dedication to adding to your style.

Each collection provides a description on sizing. Please review the description for specific details regarding height, waist, or weight reccomendations.
